Samantha knows Boston! Everything she told is to check out was on every travel websites “must see” list! We were going to Boston for our anniversary weekend (and because I was dying to visit Salem in October!) so I wanted it to be really special and Sam made that happen!
We knew nothing about Salem other than we wanted to see the places Hocus Pocus was filmed. Sam not only mapped out where to go but also when to go. She advised us it would only take an evening to do it all and she was right! The Salem Witch Museum, Salem Witch Trials Memorial and a Haunted History Night Walking Tour was the perfect evening!
As for Boston, touring Fenway Park was on the top of her list. Being Philly fans we were reluctant, but it was AWESOME!
We knew we wanted to follow the Freedom Trail around Boston but had no idea where to stop along the way. Sam’s suggestions of Bell in Hand Tavern and Green Dragon were perfect bar stops. And without her suggestion to stop at Mike’s Pastry we would never have had their AH-Mazing cannolis.
Without Sam, we have been lost tourists in a big city. You really can’t go wrong in Boston, there is so much to do, see and eat but if you want to do the “best” stuff, take Sam’s advice!!
